In our work, we have an absolute: the vineyards

We give our maximum effort to our vines so that the fruits they bear will reach perfection. We do not follow standard protocols or established rules for the fertilizer, summer pruning, green harvest, thinning, cover crops between vineyard rows, tying, and shearing operations. Rather, they are modified for the particular characteristics of every vine, even every branch. We consider each plant to be unique and want it to express its distinguishing characteristics in the grapes; and we always respect its productive capacity and avoid forcing or straining it.

The enological heritage of our hills is preserved through a "living database" of selected vines

The database consists of a selected vines from our best nebbiolo vines, at least 60 years old that are currently in production on our land.

After a long process of sorting, grafting, and qualitative analysis, we created an experimental vineyard in Neive (Cn) in which each vineyard row is a “living memory” of one of our winery’s plants. With this careful selection of clones, we are preserving the heritage and hard work of generations and conserving the qualities and characteristics of our wine for the future.
